- Use Tooling (A) to remove fuel filter (2) from fuel filter base (1).

Illustration 2 g01199735 - Disconnect hose assemblies (3), (7), and (8) from fuel filter base (1). Immediately cap all openings or plug all openings in order to prevent contamination.
- Disconnect harness assemblies (5) and (6) from fuel filter base (1).
- Remove bolts (4) and the washers from fuel filter base (1). Remove fuel filter base (1) from the bracket.
