Front, Right Side of Engine (1) Cooling fan pump | |
Cooling fan pump (1) is mounted to the front of the engine, on the right side. The right hopper door provides access to this pump.
Cooling fan pump (1) is a gear type pump with a fixed displacement. This pump draws oil from the hydraulic tank through the inlet port. When the engine is operating, the cooling fan pump supplies flow to the cooling fan manifold, and the pump supplies flow to the cooling fan motor. Since the cooling fan pump is a fixed displacement pump, output from the pump is proportional to engine speed.
