Start By:

  1. Remove the swing motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Motor - Remove".

  1. Remove plug (1), check valve (2), and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove plug (3), check valve (4), plug (5), and the O-ring seals.

  1. Remove bolts (7) and head (6) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (8), port plate (9), and bearing (10) .

  1. Remove spacer (11) and bevel washer (12) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (15), bevel washer (13), and spacer (14) .

  1. Remove pins (17) .

  1. Install Tooling (A) .

  1. Apply a suitable air supply to the fitting in order to remove piston (16) .

  1. Remove O-ring seals (18) .

  1. Remove plates (19) and rotating group (20) .

  1. Remove pistons (21), retainer (22), and bearing (23) .

  1. Remove pins (24) .

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

  1. Use a suitable press and Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (25) .

  1. Remove washers (26) and spring (27) .

  1. Remove plate (28) .

  1. Use a suitable press in order to remove bearing (29) and shaft (30) from housing (31) .

  1. Remove ring (32) from bearing (29) .

  1. Remove bearing (29) from shaft (30) .
