Water Temperature Regulator - Remove and Install

Usage:

C32 B2C

Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal until the coolant is below the level of the water temperature regulator housing. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

  1. Remove bolts (2) from cover (1) .

  1. Remove cover (1). Remove O-ring seal (4) from cover (1). Remove water temperature regulators (5) from water temperature regulator housing (3) .

  1. If necessary, remove the lip seals.

    NOTICE

    Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

    Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


  1. If necessary, use Tooling (A) to install the lip seals.

  1. Install water temperature regulators (5) in water temperature regulator housing (3) .

  1. Install new O-ring seal (4) in cover (1) .

  1. Position cover (1) on housing (3).

  1. Install bolts (2) .

  1. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
