The main relief valves are attached to the main control valve. The P1 and P2 relief valves regulate the main pump's output pressure. The P3 relief valve controls the pressure of the swing pump. The relief valves protect the hydraulic circuits from damage that could occur from pressure that is too high. Refer to Specifications, RENR9143, "Main Control Valve" for the system's pressure and flow specifications.
