Improvements have been made to the cartridge in the pilot valve Illustration 1 that is used for operating the implement control valves. The improvement consists of a change in material to the internal seal for better sealing at low pressure. The new seal has a PTFE coating that will reduce the friction between the seal and the mating plunger in order to keep the pilot valve from sticking. For the improvements to the pilot valve cartridges, the internal parts will not be serviceable. Serviceability has also been eliminated on the internal parts of the former design in order to prevent confusion in parts usage. The part number for the cartridge has not changed for the design improvement. The part numbers for the cartridges are listed in Table 1 below. The sequence number on the pilot valve group identifies the effectivity of the change. The part number and the effectivity are listed in Table 2.
