Electric Starting Motor - Remove and Install

Usage:

C4.4 MMC

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the batteries.

  2. Disconnect harness assemblies (3).

  3. Disconnect harness assemblies (4).

  4. Disconnect harness assemblies (5).

  5. Disconnect harness assemblies (6).

  6. Remove nuts (1) and remove electric starting motor (2) from the flywheel housing. The weight of electric starting motor (2) is approximately 13 kg (30 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Position electric starting motor (2) in the flywheel housing. The weight of electric starting motor (2) is approximately 13 kg (30 lb). Install nuts (1).

  2. Connect harness assemblies (6).

  3. Connect harness assemblies (5).

  4. Connect harness assemblies (4).

  5. Connect harness assemblies (3).

  6. Connect the batteries.
