Piston Pump (Right Propel) - Remove

Start By:

  1. Remove the piston pump (auxiliary). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Auxiliary) - Remove".
  2. Remove the piston pump (left drag conveyor and right auger conveyor). Refer to Disassebly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Left Drag Conveyor and Right Auger Conveyor) - Remove".

Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (ZZ) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL OR THE INSTALLATION. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.

Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

  1. Drain the oil from the pump drive into a suitable container. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (2) from piston pump (1) .

  1. Disconnect harness assemblies (3) from piston pump (1) .

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to piston pump (1). Remove bolts (4) and remove piston pump (1) from the machine. The weight of piston pump (1) is approximately 77 kg (170 lb).

  1. Remove the O-ring seal from piston pump (1) .
