3176C Engines for Caterpillar Built Machines Caterpillar

CID 0273 FMI 04 Turbo Outlet Pressure short to ground

Usage:

3176C 7ZR
Conditions Which Generate This Code:

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects a signal voltage that is below normal.

System Response:

The ECM will log the diagnostic code. The ECM flags turbocharger outlet pressure as invalid data.

  • Low power

Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: Engine Pressure Sensor Open or Short Circuit - Test

Results:

  • OK - STOP
