Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, PERJ1017, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat^® products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to cab assembly (25). The weight of cab assembly (25) is approximately 635 kg (1400 lb). Position cab assembly (25).

Install bolt (27). Tighten bolt (27) to a torque of 450 N·m (332 lb ft). Repeat for the opposite side.

Install bolt (26). Tighten bolt (26) to a torque of 450 N·m (332 lb ft). Repeat for the opposite side.

Position tank assembly (23). Connect hose (24) and reposition tank assembly (23). Install bolts (22).

Install all mounting hardware to cable assembly (21). Connect cable assembly (21) and install nut (20).

Connect harness assemblies (19) and (18).

Install all mounting hardware to cable assembly (13). Connect cable assembly (13). Position bracket (15) and install bolts (14). Install pin (12) and install clip (11).

Remove Tooling (A) from tire assembly (1).
Recharge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant". Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools".
