  1. Remove the pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Propel) - Remove".

  1. Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (10) .

  1. Remove cover (11) .

  1. Use Tooling (D) in order to remove retaining ring (15) .

  1. Remove bearing (16) from shaft (14) .

  1. Remove pin assemblies (18) .

  1. Install Tooling (A) in order to compress the barrel assembly.

  1. Remove bearing (20), bearing race (21), and swashplate (19) .

  1. Remove Tooling (A) .

  1. Remove barrel assembly (24) .

  1. Remove pistons (25) and retainer (26) from the barrel assembly.

  1. Use Tooling (B), Tooling (E), and a suitable press in order to remove retaining ring (29) .

  1. Remove washer (32), spring (31), and washer (30) from barrel assembly (24) .

  1. Remove bolts (32), cover (33), and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove bolts (34) and cover (35) .

  1. Remove nut (38), washer (37), and piston assembly (36) from cover (35) .
