(A) Align the pedal so the rod can pass freely through the hole in the pedal and the hole in the support. Assemble the pedal in order to allow 0.75 ± 0.25 mm (0.0295 ± 0.0098 inch) of free play.
(1) Torque for the locknuts ... 20 ± 5 N·m (15 ± 4 lb ft)
