Auxiliary Water Pump - Install - Type 1 and Type 2

Installation Procedure


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Position gasket (4) on the front housing.

  2. Attach a suitable lifting device to auxiliary water pump (5). The weight of auxiliary water pump (5) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb). Position the auxiliary water pump on the front housing.

  3. Install nuts (3).

  4. Position the elbow on the auxiliary water pump and install clamp (1). Tighten the clamp to a torque of 20 N·m (15 lb ft). Position the elbow on the auxiliary water pump and install clamp (2). Tighten the clamp to a torque of 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
