(1) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the 24 8I-0212 Studs.
(2) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the 24 8I-0185 Studs.
(3) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the 26 8I-0189 Studs.
(4) Use 8I-0888 Shims, 8I-0889 Shims, or 8I-0890 Shims to position the nose bars with a gap of zero to 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) between the screed plate and the nose bar. Position the nose bars with a zero to 0.8 mm (0.03 inch) overhang of the screed plate.
(5) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the full thread of the 24 8I-0184 Adjustment Nuts.
(6) Tighten the 24 6V-8188 Nuts to the following torque. ... 70 ± 12 N·m (52 ± 9 lb ft)

(7) Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the threads of the eight 8T-9384 Bolts.
(8) Apply a bead of 250-1252 Grease to the ends of the four elements prior to installing the screed plate.

(9) Apply a bead of 250-1252 Grease along the surface of the elements that come in contact with the screed plate.
