Installation Procedure


NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

  1. Connect harness assemblies (11) to pilot control valve (9).

  2. Position pilot control valve (9). Install screws (10).

  3. Install armrest (7) with bolts (8).

  4. Connect hose assemblies (6).

  5. Install cover assemblies (5).

  6. Position cover assembly (1). Connect harness assemblies (4).

  7. Install cover assembly (1). Install screws (2). Install insulation (3).

  8. Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".

End By:

  1. Install the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install".
