Interface Board - Remove and Install - User Interface Board

Removal Procedure

    User Interface Board

  1. Place the system in bypass mode by turning the keyswitch to the Bypass position.

  1. Shut down the system according to the shutdown procedure that is for the system that is being worked on.

    Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Shutdown".

  1. Label all the input wires and all of the output wires.

  1. Disconnect the "24 VDC" connector from terminal "J1" (10) .

  1. Disconnect the "APC" connector from terminal "J2" (8) .

  1. Disconnect the "LCD" connector from terminal "J3" (1) .

  1. Disconnect the "Backlight Power" connector from terminal "J4" (7) .

  1. Disconnect the "Keypad" connector from terminal "J5" (2) .

  1. Disconnect "J11" (5) and "J9" (4) .

  1. Disconnect the connector for the keyswitch from terminal "J6" (3) .

  1. Disconnect the "EPO" connector from terminal "J7" (7) .

  1. Disconnect the "EPO Trip" connector from terminal "J10" (5) .

  1. Remove four nuts (11) .

  1. Remove the board from the four plastic mounting spacers.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the board on the four plastic mounting spacers.

  1. Install four nuts (11) .

  1. Connect the "EPO Trip" connector to terminal "J10" (5) .

  1. Connect the "EPO" connector to terminal "J7" (7) .

  1. Connect the connector for the keyswitch to terminal "J6" (3) .

  1. Connect "J11" (5) and "J9" (4) .

  1. Connect the "Keypad" connector to terminal "J5" (2) .

  1. Connect the "Backlight Power" connector to terminal "J4" (7) .

  1. Connect the "LCD" connector to terminal "J3" (1) .

  1. Connect the "APC" connector to terminal "J2" (8) .

  1. Connect the "24 VDC" connector to terminal "J1" (10) .

  1. Energize the system according to the start-up procedure for the system that is being worked on.

    Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Startup".
