Turbocharger - Disassemble
Start By:
- Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Remove".

Do not attempt to disassemble the turbocharger cartridge assembly. The turbocharger cartridge assembly is not field serviced, and should be replaced only as a unit. |

- Position the turbocharger on a bench. Place alignment marks on compressor housing (1), turbocharger cartridge (3), and turbine housing (5).
- Loosen the nut on clamp assembly (4). Separate turbine housing (5) from turbocharger cartridge (3).
- Loosen the nut on clamp assembly (2). Separate turbocharger cartridge (3) from compressor housing (1).
