连杆的销孔端呈锥形。 这种锥形使连杆和活塞负荷最大的部位更结实。 四个成一定小角度的螺栓将连杆盖固定到连杆上。 这种设计可使连杆的宽度最窄，从而可使用较大的连杆轴承，同时，仍可以通过缸套取出连杆。
