Many Caterpillar machines have optional high efficiency filters that can be substituted in order to clean either the oil in the hydraulic system or the oil in the power train system. The filters can be used for a short time to ensure the cleanliness of a recently serviced system or the filters can be used for extended periods of time in clean systems. Refer to the following manuals for the specific filter for your machine:
