Fuel Injection Nozzles - Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install a new seat washer (5) in the cylinder head.
Note: If the original seat washer (5) is reused, the projection of the fuel injection nozzle (4) will be incorrect.
- Install a new O-ring seal (6) on the fuel injection nozzle (4). Install the fuel injection nozzle (4) in the cylinder head.
Note: The alignment pin (7) must be located opposite the clamp (2).
- Position the clamp (2) on the fuel injection nozzle (4). Install the setscrew (3). Tighten the setscrew to a torque of
35 N·m (25 lb ft) . Remove the cap (1) before the fuel injection lines are installed.

- Install the cover for the fuel injection nozzles. Refer to this Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Fuel Injection Nozzle Cover - Remove and Install".
