安装在飞轮壳体内的磁传感器，通过感受掠过的飞轮齿圈上的齿数来测量发动机的转速。 当发动机转速升高到大于超速设定值时，磁传感器就会感测到超速，并向发电机组控制装置发出信号。 发电机组控制装置将启动关断燃油的螺线管和空气关断阀（如有配备）。 每次超速关断后，发电机组控制装置和空气关断阀（如有配备）二者都必须重新设置。 必须在发动机重新启动之前明确超速的原因。
切断空气
空气关断阀是选购附件。 空气关断阀是一个电动装置，它可被超速关断信号启动，或者，在按下紧急停车按钮时被启动。 在重新启动发动机之前，发电机组控制装置和空气关断阀（如有配备）二者都必须重新设置。 必须在发动机重新启动之前明确关断的原因。

冷却液温度传感器

冷却液温度传感器装在汽缸盖内。 水温过高或过低都会启动报警信号或关断。 无需复位。
发动机加油压力传感器

冷却液液位传感器（如有配备)

冷却液液位降到最低液位以下时，冷却液液位传感器会启动报警信号，或者造成关断，以避免发动机过热或可能引起的发动机损坏。 必须向散热器添加冷却液以便纠正这种状况。
