Window Wiper and Wiper Motor (Front) - Remove

Usage:

938G II B9Y

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

Note: Put identification marks on all wires and on all connectors for installation purposes.

  1. Remove the rubber mat from the cab floor.

  1. Remove screws (1). Tilt plate assembly (2) forward.

  1. Disconnect light bulbs (6) and harness assemblies (3), (4), and (5) .

  1. Remove plate assembly (2) .

  1. Remove screws (7) and (8). Tilt plate assembly (9) forward.

  1. Disconnect harness assemblies (10), (11), and (12). Disconnect light bulbs (13) .

  1. Remove plate assembly (9) .

  1. Remove bolts (14). Move switch box (15) aside.

  1. Remove bolts (16) that secure the air duct to the cab. Repeat this step on the opposite side of the air duct.

  1. Remove the bolt and clip (17) that secures the harness assemblies on the left side of the air duct.

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (18) from the alarm.

  1. Pull both harness assemblies through the air duct in order to remove the air duct.

  1. Remove ties (19) from the right harness assembly.

  1. Remove bolts (20) from the base of the support assembly.

  1. Remove bolts (21) from each side of the support assembly. This will allow the steering control to be tilted for later removal of the air duct.

  1. Tilt the steering control assembly toward the seat. Lift the air duct and tilt the air duct toward the seat so that harness clip (22) can be removed. Remove the air duct.

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (23) from wiper motor (24) .

  1. Disconnect hose (25). Open covers (26) .

  1. Remove nuts (27) and wiper arm assemblies (28) .

  1. Remove caps (29) .

  1. Support the wiper motor assembly inside the cab. Remove nut (32) and bolt (30). Remove plate (31), the gasket and the wiper motor assembly.
