Replace the 112-9565 Blower Motor As with the 174-1489 Blower Motor As .

Replace the 164-9206 Blower Motor As with the 174-1486 Blower Motor As .

Note: On the 914G, 924G, and 928G machines the 174-1486 Blower Motor As needs to be used.

After a new motor is installed, inspect the blower wheel for the correct rotation.

Note: Reverse rotation of the motor will reduce the life of the motor. Reverse rotation of the motor can create three problems.

  • Reverse rotation can wear out the brushes.

  • Reverse rotation can increase the ampere draw.

  • Reverse rotation can reduce the output of airflow.

When a new motor is installed, ensure that the motor is turning in a counterclockwise rotation. the rotation can be checked with two methods. Check the arrow on the label or position the motor so the motor is in front of you and the wires are on the right hand side. Then, look at the left end of the motor in order to determine direction of rotation.

Items which should be checked for proper rotation of the motor

  • The motor should produce approximately 350 CFM of airflow with all louvers open.

  • The current of the motor should be between 8 and 12 amperes.
