E113 High Transmission Oil Pressure
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
- The transmission oil pressure is greater than the value that is programmed in the monitoring system parameter for "High Transmission Oil Pressure".
- The parameter for the "Transmission Oil Pressure Sensor" is programmed to "Installed".
System Response:
The ECM will log the warning. The warning lamp will come on and the warning will be transmitted to the display.
- There may be a problem with the transmission oil pressure sensor.
Test Step 1. Inspect the Circuit Components and the Wiring
- Inspect the wiring and the connector for the transmission oil pressure sensor for damage or loose connections.
- Remove the transmission oil pressure sensor and inspect the sensor for damage.
Expected Result:
The transmission oil pressure sensor is not damaged and the wiring is OK.
Results:
- OK - The sensor is operating properly and the wiring is OK.
Repair: Refer to the information that is provided by the OEM for the transmission.
Stop.
- Not OK -
Repair: Repair the components or replace the faulty components.Verify that the repair eliminates the problem.
Stop.
