The following issues have been resolved by the Software Upgrade for Cat ET:

• Opening report files from Cat ET

• With the status function

• With the Transmission Clutch Imminent Pressure Calibrations for the following Wheel Loaders: 834, 836 and 988.

• The Hoist Calibration for the 797 Chassis Control has been fixed and has been renamed. Hoist Calibration has been renamed to Hoist Lower Mode Pressure Calibration.

Installing the Software Upgrade for Cat ET

Use the following procedure to install the software upgrade for the Cat ET.

1. Use the following web sites to access Cat ET:
   • Power Net at https://engines.cat.com/infocast/frames/truck/service/catet/

   • NACD Infocast at https://nacd.cat.com/infocast/frames/psfulfill/sfulfill/et/

   • CAPL APDNet at https://catasia.cat.com/infocast/frames/pss/service/et/

2. Select Downloads from one of the listed web sites.

3. Select ET 2002A SP1 Upgrade (8.33 MB) from the Download Options drop-down menu.

4. Select Save this program to disk.

5. Select OK.

6. Choose a directory on the hard drive of your PC for saving the software upgrade for the Cat ET 2002A Service Pack 1. Downloading will begin.

7. Once the file is downloaded to the PC, double click on the icon to install the software upgrade.

8. Follow the instructions on the screen.
