There are two valves in the pilot hydraulic system. High pressure pilot relief (6) protects the pilot system high pressure circuit. Pressure reducing valve (1) protects the pilot system low pressure circuit.
Pilot oil enters pressure reducing valve (1) and the track tension circuit. High pressure pilot relief valve (6) has a pressure setting of 6750 ± 100 kPa (980 ± 15 psi). High pressure pilot relief valve (6) relieves pressure into the low pressure circuit. The low pressure circuit is maintained by pressure reducing valve (1) to 4500 ± 100 kPa (650 ± 15 psi).
Check valve (3) limits the flow of oil to one direction. Pilot oil flows through passage (4) to the pilot accumulator and the hydraulic activation control selector valve.
