General Operation
The utility paralleling switchgear for the power module is intended for use with automatic paralleling or for use with manual paralleling. This is accomplished with a utility power source that is used as a system for load management. Provisions are made for standby operation in order to feed an isolated load network.
Load management involves an automatic loading control that is a microprocessor based device. The loading control has these features:
- Soft loading
- Soft unloading
- Base load control
When the remote "UTILITY AUX CONTACT" contact is closed, electrical continuity exists, and base load operation is automatically initiated.
