MID 036 - CID 1446 - FMI 12 Fuel Metering Module malfunction
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The fuel metering valve sends a signal to the Electronic Control Module (ECM) via the CAN data link. The signal indicates that there is a problem with the fuel metering valve.
System Response:
The code is logged. The shutdown output is activated.
Possible Performance Effect:
The engine is shut down.
Troubleshooting:
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: "Fuel Metering Valve"
