Product Identification Number - Program
此程序允许您输入或修改产品识别号（"产品 ID"）。
注: 如果不在 MSS 内输入正确的"产品 ID"，则不能获得出厂密码。
- 将装有 Caterpillar ET 的笔记本电脑通过通信适配器连接到机器上。
- 将具有主访问级别的电子钥匙插入钥匙起动开关内。
- 将电子钥匙转到 "ON" 位置。
- 起动电子技师并与 MSS ECM 间建立通信。
- 从 "Service（维修）"菜单中选择 "Configuration（配置）"选项或者按 "F5" 键。 这将显示 "Configuration（配置）"屏幕。
- 选择出现在 "Configuration（配置）"屏幕上的 "Product ID（产品 ID）"选项。

- 单击 "Configuration（配置）"屏幕上的 "Change（修改）"按钮。 对话框出现。
- 输入机器的"产品 ID"。 此"产品 ID" 必须为 8 位。 此"产品 ID" 必须采用 3 个字母和 5 个数字组成的 8 位形式。 请参阅图 3 内的第 (4) 项。
注: 非卡特彼勒机器采用 MSS99999 的"产品 ID"。

- 点击 "OK（确定）"按钮。 这将使 ET 显示以下消息。
注: 2001 年第一季度，Caterpillar 产品识别号（PIN）从 8 位改为 17 位字符。 机器安全系统所要求的"产品 ID" 为最后 8 位。 请参阅图 3 内的项目 (4) 。
