The power is supplied from the transformer ("T2") for the following fuses:

  • "F6 Vacuum Pump"

  • "F7 Fan Power (1, 3, 4, and 6)"

  • "F8 K2 Contactor Coil"

The power is supplied from the input node ("T1") for the following fuses:

  • "F3 K3 Contactor Coil"

  • "F1 K1 Contactor Coil"

  • "F4 24 V Power Supply"

  • "F2 Fan Power (2 and 7)"

Removal Procedure

  1. Place the system in bypass mode by turning the keyswitch to the "Bypass" Position.

  1. Isolate the system from the load by closing the bypass circuit breakers.

  1. Open the circuit breaker for the output of the system.

  1. Open the AC circuit breaker for the input of the system.

  1. Allow the capacitor banks to bleed down for approximately 5 minutes.

    Note: when the flywheel is spinning, the following components are energized: the bus, the armature leads and the fuses. Accomplish the procedure as quickly as possible. During the procedure, the rotor is spinning on the bottom bearing.

  1. Remove the Static Switch.

  1. Label all the input wires and all of the output wires.

  1. Disconnect the "ACI" input connector from terminal "J31".

  1. Disconnect the "T1 Fans" connector from terminal "J34".

  1. Disconnect the "T1 Hot/230" connector from terminal "J4".

  1. Disconnect the "T1 Hot/190" connector from terminal "J6".

  1. Disconnect the "T1 Com" connector from terminal "J5".

  1. Disconnect the "AUX Supply 2" connector from terminal "J45".

  1. Disconnect the "AUX Supply 1" connector from terminal "J33".

  1. Disconnect the "ACI Out" connector from terminal "J3".

  1. Disconnect the "T2 FANS" connector from terminal "J2".

  1. Disconnect the "VACUUM AC1" connector from terminal "J26".

  1. Disconnect the "VACUUM AC2" connector from terminal "J32".

  1. Disconnect the "T2 Hot/230" connector from terminal "J1".

  1. Disconnect the "T2 Hot/190" connector from terminal "J39".

  1. Disconnect the "T2 Com" connector from terminal "J25".

  1. Disconnect the "J7" connector from terminal "J7".

  1. Disconnect the "J37" connector.

  1. Disconnect the "BCC/PCC" connector from terminal "J10".

  1. Disconnect the "ACI" connector from terminal "J11".

  1. Disconnect the "UIF/PUF" connector from terminal "J12".

  1. Disconnect the "APC" connector from terminal "J13".

  1. Disconnect the "SIO" connector from terminal "J14".

  1. Disconnect the "Fan" connector from terminal "J15".

  1. Disconnect the "EPO" connector from terminal "J16".

  1. Disconnect the "FWI" connector from terminal "J17".

  1. Disconnect the "DCI/PCI" connector from terminal "J18".

  1. Disconnect the "FCD" connector from terminal "J19".

  1. Disconnect the "SSI" connector from terminal "J20".

  1. Disconnect the "GSD" connector from terminal "J21".

  1. Disconnect the "SKI A" connector from terminal "J22".

  1. Disconnect the "SKI B" connector from terminal "J23".

  1. Disconnect the "SKI C" connector from terminal "J24".

  1. Disconnect the "SKI 3" connector from terminal "J27".

  1. Disconnect the "SKI 2" connector from terminal "J28".

  1. Disconnect the "SKI 1" connector from terminal "J29".

  1. Disconnect the "GND" connector from terminal "J9".

  1. Disconnect the "J46/Com" and "J35/24P2".

  1. Disconnect the "24P1" connector from terminal "J8".

  1. Remove the board from the six spacers.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new board.

  1. Connect the "24P1" connector to terminal "J8".

  1. Connect "J46/Com" and "J35/24P2".

  1. Connect the "GND" connector to terminal "J9".

  1. Connect the "SKI 1" connector to terminal "J29".

  1. Connect the "SKI 2" connector to terminal "J28".

  1. Connect the "SKI 3" connector to terminal "J27".

  1. Connect the "SKI C" connector to terminal "J24".

  1. Connect the "SKI B" connector to terminal "J23".

  1. Connect the "SKI A" connector to terminal "J22".

  1. Connect the "GSD" connector to terminal "J21".

  1. Connect the "SSI" connector to terminal "J20".

  1. Connect the "FCO" connector to terminal "J19".

  1. Connect the "DCI/PCI" connector to terminal "J18".

  1. Connect the "FWI" connector to terminal "J17".

  1. Connect the "EPO" connector to terminal "J16".

  1. Connect the "FAN" connector to terminal "J15".

  1. Connect the "SIO" connector to terminal "J4".

  1. Connect the "APC" connector to terminal "J13".

  1. Connect the "UIF/PUI" connector to terminal "J12".

  1. Connect the "ACI" connector to terminal "J11".

  1. Connect the "BCC/PCC" connector to terminal "J10".

  1. Connect the "J37" connector.

  1. Connect the "J7" connector to terminal "J7".

  1. Connect the "T2 Com" connector to terminal "J25".

  1. Connect the "T2 Hot/190" connector to terminal "J39".

  1. Connect the "T2 Hot/230" connector to terminal "J1".

  1. Connect the "Vacuum AC2" connector to terminal "J32".

  1. Connect the "Vacuum AC1" connector to terminal "J26".

  1. Connect the "T2 Fans" connector to terminal "J2".

  1. Connect the "ACI out" connector to terminal "J3".

  1. Connect the "AUX Supply 1" connector to terminal "J33".

  1. Connect the "AUX Supply 2" connector to terminal "J45".

  1. Connect the "T1 Com" connector to terminal "J5".

  1. Connect the "T1 Hot/190" connector to terminal "J6".

  1. Connect the "T1 Hot/230" connector to terminal "J4".

  1. Connect the "T1 Fans" connector to terminal "J34".

  1. Connect the "ACI Input" from terminal "J31".
