Note: Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the following items on the exhaust manifolds:

• Threads of bolts

• Plugs

• Studs

• Nuts

(1) Bolt

Tighten diagonally opposite bolts at the same time.

Torque ... 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft)

(2) Clamps

Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the bearing surfaces, to the clamp bolt, and to the inside diameter of the clamp.

Torque ... 6.5 ± 2.0 N·m (58 ± 18 lb in)

(3) Heat shield

(4) Stud

Torque ... 35 ± 5 N·m (25 ± 4 lb ft)
