Features/Benefits
The Driver's Edition of Pocket Tec is used in conjunction with a Palm Handheld. Pocket Tec allows you to read 23 engine parameters with the ability to change 11 of the parameters. "Cruise Control", "Low Idle Engine RPM", "Maintenance Indicator Mode", and "Theft Deterrent" are a few parameters that can be changed.
Pocket Tec allows you to view 22 status screens. "Temperatures", "Pressures", "Speed", and "ECM Battery Voltage" are a few screens that can be viewed. The driver's version also displays all Active Diagnostic Codes and a description of each code. The kit includes the Pocket Tec software, the Palm Communications adapter, and a data link cable.
The adapter can be used with all versions of the Palm m100, Palm m105, Palm III and Palm VII. The adapter can also be used with the Original Palm Pilot and the Original Palm Pilot Professional if the devices are upgraded to OS 3.1. Palm V will also work if a PalmDock V Pro adapter is purchased at http://www.palmdock.com/orderpro.html.
Note: Pocket Tec can be used with all Caterpillar On-Highway truck engines 1994 and newer. Not all features are available on all engines.
