Fuel Tank Cap and Strainer - Clean

- Remove the fuel tank cap.
- Inspect the cap gasket. Replace the gasket if the gasket is damaged.
- Remove the retaining snap ring.
- Remove the screen.
- Disassemble the fuel tank cap.
- Wash all the parts in clean, nonflammable solvent.
- Lightly oil the element. Assemble the fuel tank cap.
- Install the screen, the retaining snap ring and the fuel tank cap.
