The regulator (3) is fastened to the rear frame with three screws. The capacitor (2) is fastened with two screws. Two of the screws (1) on the regulator have insulators, and one of the screws (1) on the capacitor has an insulator. Carefully inspect the three insulated screws (1). Damaged insulators or missing insulators can cause damage to the internal components of the alternator.
