Mielőtt leállított motor mellett bármelyik adaptert leeresztené, küldjön el mindenkit az adapter körüli területről. Az eljárás módja különböző lehet, attól függően, hogy milyen adaptert akar leereszteni. Vegye figyelembe, hogy a legtöbb rendszer nagynyomású folyadék, vagy nagynyomású levegő segítségével végzi az adapterek felemelését és leeresztését. Az eljárás során nagynyomású levegőt, hidraulikus folyadékot, vagy egyéb közeget kell kiereszteni az adapter leeresztéséhez.
