Introduction

Always use an installation tool that is the correct size to install the Duo-Cone Seal. Using the correct sized tool will prevent damage to the toric ring or to the sealing faces of the Duo-Cone Seals.

The installation tool serves two purposes. The tool locates the seal group to the correct distance from a reference surface and the tool positions the seal group around a shaft.
