MID 036 - CID 0277 - FMI 08 Timing Calibration signal abnormal
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The engine speed is above low idle. There is no ether signal for two seconds. The signal for Top Center is ± 30 degrees.
System Response:
The CID-FMI is logged in memory. The CID-FMI may be viewed on a display module or the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: Permanent Timing Calibration Sensor
Results:
- OK - STOP
- REPAIRED, OK - STOP
