Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Note: The HH65 Harvester Head is shown in this procedure. Other harvester heads are similar.

1. Place feed roller arm cylinder (3) in position on the harvester head.

2. Install pivot pin (10). Install bolt (9) and the locknut.

3. Install lower roller (8). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Lower Roller - Remove and Install".

4. Install cover (7) and bolt (6) .

5. Support the feed roller arm with a suitable lifting sling and a hoist.

6. Place feed roller arm cylinder (3) in position on the feed roller arm. Install pivot pin (5). Install bolt (4) .

7. Remove the sling and the hoist.

8. Connect two hydraulic hose assemblies (1) and (2) to cylinder (3) .

9. Lubricate the bearings through the provided fittings. Use 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease .
