Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Note: The HH65 Harvester Head is shown in this procedure. Other harvester heads are similar.

1. Position holding arm cylinder (2) on the harvester head.

2. Install pivot pin (3). Install the washer and the nut on pivot pin (3). Tighten the nut.

3. Install pivot pin (1). Install the washer and the nut on pivot pin (1). Tighten the nut.

4. Connect the two hydraulic hose assemblies on holding arm cylinder (2) .

5. Place cover (4) in position on the harvester head. Install the bolts that retain cover (4) .
