Warning Indicators (1) Master fault light (2) Brake oil pressure indicator (3) Brake air pressure indicator (4) Parking brake indicator |
When the engine is started, brake air pressure indicator (3) will turn on. The indicator will remain on until the air pressure reaches approximately 520 kPa (75 psi). Parking brake indicator (4) will also come on until the parking brake control knob is pushed in. This will release the parking brake.
Note: Master fault light (1) and the fault alarm will operate when brake air pressure indicator (3) is on.
When the engine is running, loss of brake air pressure will cause brake air pressure indicator (3) and master fault light (1) to come on. The fault alarm will sound. The parking and secondary brakes will automatically engage.
A loss of hydraulic pressure in the master cylinders will activate the overstroke switches on the master cylinders. This will cause brake oil pressure indicator (2) and master fault light (1) to come on. The master fault alarm will also sound.
