Gate Cylinders - Lubricate

Adjustable bunks may fall causing personal injury. Use caution when adjusting the adjustable bunks. Do not adjust the bunks beyond the farthest position. |

Wipe off all of the fittings before any lubricant is applied.
- Move the gate to the rear position in order to lubricate the fittings.
- Apply 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease through one fitting at each end of the cylinders which raise the gate.

- Move the gate to your required operating position.
- Move the gate to the rear position in order to remove the access cover.
Note: The following cylinder is an option on all Forwarders. Your machine may not be equipped with this cylinder.

- Remove eight bolts in order to remove the access cover.
- Apply 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease through one fitting on the rod end of the gate cylinder.

- Apply 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease through one fitting on the head end of the gate cylinder.

- Install eight bolts onto the access cover.

- Move the gate to your required operating position.
