Blade - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

  1. Position the upper structure to the 45° angle, as shown above.

  1. Use a suitable lifting strap to support the blade cylinder.

  1. Remove bolt (1) and spacer (2) .

  1. Remove pin assembly (3) from the blade cylinder with a brass punch.

  1. Use a suitable strap to lower blade cylinder (4) to the floor.

  1. Use the suitable lifting straps to support the blade, as shown above.

  1. Remove bolt (5) and spacer (6) .

  1. Remove pin assembly (7) from the upper structure with a brass punch.

  1. Repeat Steps 7 and 8 for the other side of the blade.

  1. Use the suitable lifting straps to remove blade (8) from the undercarriage frame. Weight of the blade is 86 kg (190 lb).

Installation Procedure

Note: Be sure that the pin assembly and the pin bores are thoroughly clean prior to installation of the blade.

  1. Position the upper structure to a 45° angle, as shown above.

  1. Apply a thin coat of 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease on the diameter of the pin bore and the pin assembly.

  1. Install blade (8) to the undercarriage frame with the suitable lifting straps. Weight of the blade is 86 kg (190 lb).

  1. Install pin assembly (7), spacer (6), and bolt (5) to the blade. Tighten the bolt.

  1. Repeat Step 4 for the other side of the blade.

  1. Use a suitable lifting strap to position blade cylinder (4) into the blade.

  1. Install pin assembly (3), spacer (2), and bolt (1) to the blade cylinder. Tighten the bolt.
