Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the radiator and the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator and Fan - Remove".
2. Remove the alternator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".

1. Loosen clamp (1) and remove the hose.

2. Loosen clamp (2) and remove the hose.

3. Loosen screw (3) and remove the hose.

4. Remove nut (4) and the washer.

5. Remove two bolts (5) and washers.

6. Remove strap (6) from the water pump.

7. Remove four bolts (7) and washers.

8. Remove water pump (8) with the gasket away from the engine.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the gasket with water pump (8) to the engine.

2. Install washers and four bolts (7). Tighten the bolts.

3. Install strap (6) to the water pump with washers and two bolts (5). Tighten the bolts.

4. Install the washer and nut (4). Tighten the nut.

5. Install the hose and tighten screw (3) .

6. Install the hose and tighten clamp (2) .

7. Install the hose and tighten clamp (1) .

End By:

1. Install the alternator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".
2. Install the radiator and the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator and Fan - Install".
