Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the governor control linkage and decelerator.

1. Loosen bolt (2) and remove lever (1) from the shaft. Remove the key from the shaft.

2. Remove housing (5) and the washer from cover assembly (4) .

3. Remove bolts (6). Remove cover assembly (4), plate assembly (3), and two gaskets from the support.

4. Remove rollers (8) and springs (7) from the plate assembly.

5. Remove plate assembly (10) from cover assembly (4) .

6. Remove spring (9) from the shaft assembly.

7. Remove shaft assembly (12) and spring (11) from cover assembly (4) .

8. Loosen bolt (14) and remove lever (13) from the shaft assembly.

9. Remove the key from the shaft assembly.

10. Remove the cotter pin and pin (17). Disconnect bar (16) from pedal (15) .

11. Remove bolt (19) and lever (18) .

12. Remove the key from shaft assembly (20). Remove the shaft assembly from the support.

13. Loosen bolt (21). Remove shaft (22) and pedal (15) from the support.

14. Loosen bolt (23) and remove pedal (24) from the shaft.

15. Loosen bolt (28) and slide shaft (25) out of lever (27). Remove key (26) from shaft (25). Remove the shaft and lever (27) from the support.

16. If necessary, remove bearings (30) and seals (31) from support (29) .
