Window (Front) - Early Type (If Equipped)

Usage:

302.5 4AZ

Front Window

To provide full ventilation inside the cab, the upper front window and the lower front window can be fully opened.

------ WARNING! ------

When opening or closing the windows, be extra careful to prevent any personal injury. Also, the hydraulic control console must be in the RAISED position to prevent any possibility of sudden movement of the machine due to inadvertent contact with the hydraulic controls.


Do not change the position of the front window until the following items have been done:

  • Park the machine on a level surface.

  • Lower the work tools and the blade to the ground.

  • Move the hydraulic lockout control to the RAISED position. For further details on this procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Lockout Control".

Upper Front Window

Perform the following procedure in order to open the upper front window.

  1. Release both latches on the sides of the front window in order to release the upper front window.

  2. Hold both grips that are provided on the front window frame. Move the front window upward into the STOWED position until the auto-lock latch is engaged.

Perform the following procedure in order to close the upper front window.

  1. Use the same latches to unlock the front window when the front window is in the STOWED position.

  2. Pull the front window downward until the front window locks in the DOWN position.

Lower Front Window

Perform the following procedure in order to remove the lower front window and install the lower front window. The upper front window should already be open and the window should be stowed properly.

  1. Raise the lower front window out of the window frame.

  2. Store the lower front window in the holder that is located behind the operator seat. To store the lower front window, slide the window into the brackets. Lightly tighten the brackets when the window is in the STOWED position.

  3. To close the lower front window, reverse the procedure that is used for opening the lower front window.

Side Window

Release the latch and slide the window to the desired position in order to open the side window. Reverse the procedure that is used for opening the side window in order to close the window.

Unlock the side window by rotating the knob counterclockwise. Lock the side window by rotating the knob clockwise.
