NOTICE

Avoid hitting or moving rocks using the blade. Blade and cylinder damage may occur.

When using the blade as a stabilizer, be sure to support the machine with the edge of the blade against the ground. Periodically, reposition the blade to account for any drift that has occurred in the blade circuit. Structural damage may occur if the machine is only supported with the corner of the blade. When curling the front work tool, do not allow the work tool to hit the blade.

During digging operation, do not dig over the blade with the blade raised. The boom cylinder will come in contact with the top surface of the blade.

The blade can be used to backfill a trench. Push the material at a 90 degree angle to the trench. Use caution in order to not twist on new backfill. If the tracks start to spin or the engine starts to stall lighten the load.

Stability of the machine can be increased by using the blade as a stabilizer. Periodically reposition the blade. This will compensate for any drift in the blade circuit.
