(1) Torque for the bolt ... 530 ± 70 N·m (390.0 ± 52.0 lb ft)

(2) Diameter of a new cylinder ... 63.50 ± 0.08 mm (2.500 ± 0.003 inch)

(3) Diameter of a new rod ... 38.050 ± 0.038 mm (1.4980 ± 0.0015 inch)

(4) Before assembly, lubricate the threads with clean grease.

Torque for the head ... 600 ± 130 N·m (440.0 ± 95.0 lb ft)

Diameter of the four lands ... 38.43 ± 0.03 mm (1.5130 ± 0.0012 inch)

(5) 4D-0298 Bearing

Diameter of a new bearing ... 38.100 + 0.000 - 0.013 mm (1.5000 + 0.0000 - 0.0005 inch)

Installation depth ... 11.2 ± 0.5 mm (0.44 ± 0.02 inch)

(6) Before assembly, apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove.

(7) Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the same oil that is in the hydraulic system.

(8) 4D-0298 Bearing

Diameter of a new bearing ... 38.100 + 0.000 - 0.013 mm (1.5000 + 0.0000 - 0.0005 inch)

Installation depth ... 7.9 ± 0.5 mm (0.31 ± 0.02 inch)

Note: The closed length of the cylinder from the center of the pin bores is 688 mm (27.1 inch). The extended length of the cylinder is 1070 mm (42.1 inch).
