Governor Control

The governor control pedal is located on the floor of the cab. | |
On some machines, the governor control pedal is connected to an adjustable rod. The rod connects to a cable that actuates the lever on the engine governor. Push the governor control pedal in order to increase the speed of the engine. These following machines use the rod and cable to operate:
- 914G PDF1-UP
- IT14G FWL1-UP
- IT14G KZN1-UP
On other machines, the governor control pedal is connected to a rotary sensor. When the governor control pedal is pressed, the rotary sensor sends a signal to the ECM to increase the engine speed. The following machines use the rotary sensor in the governor control pedal:
- 914G2 KNP1-UP
- IT14G2 ERP1-UP
