Installation Procedure

- Attach Tooling (A) to the four lifting points on the top of the cab, as shown. Fasten a hoist and suitable lifting straps to Tooling (A) .

- Use the hoist to carefully install the cab. The weight of the cab is 544 kg (1200 lb).
- Install the washers and two bolts (42) .

- Install the washers and two bolts (41) that are located inside the cab.

- Pass hoses (37) and (40) through the fire wall. Install the clips on hoses (40). Install clamps (39) on hoses (37) .

- Install heater hoses (37) onto the engine. Tighten clamps (38) .
Note: Replace worn seals. Replace damaged seals.

- Thread brake cable (32) through the bottom of the floor of the cab. Install brake cable (32) onto the coupler. Install retainer clip (36) .

- Install guard (35). Install the washers and bolts (34) .

- Install brake cable (32) onto the brake. Install the pin and cotter pin (33) .

- Install wires (31) onto the grounding stud. Install the washer and nut (30) .

- Install six wiring assemblies (28) and two wiring assemblies (29) .

- Install throttle cable (27) and two bolts (26). Install clip (25) and the pin that retains the throttle cable (27) to the linkage.

- Install wiring assemblies (24) .

- Install five hose assemblies (23) to the original locations on the hand metering unit.

- Install brake cable (22) .

- Install manifold (20), the washers and two bolts (21) .

- Install fourteen hose assemblies (18) and hose assemblies (19) .
- Install cover (14). Install the washers and bolts (16). Install handle (17) .

- Install two bolts (15) that retain the bottom of cover (14) .

- Install handles (8), (9), and (10). Tighten nuts (11), (12), and (13) against the base of the handles.

- Install insulation (2) .

- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU6868, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".
End By:
- Install the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install".
- Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblySENR6764, "Hood - Remove and Install".
- Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
