Personal injury or death can result if two persons are not used in the following procedure. |
Personal injury or death can result from a brake malfunction. Do not operate the machine if the parking brake was engaged due to a malfunction of the hydraulic oil system or the service brakes. Correct any problem before attempting to operate the machine. |
Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent possible injury, perform the procedure that follows before testing and adjusting the brake system. |
- Put blocks in front of the wheels and blocks behind the wheels. This will prevent the machine from moving when you move the parking brake control lever to the DISENGAGED position.
- Move the steering frame lock to the LOCKED position.
